So you have supported the fundraisers, gave a donation, volunteered your time, bought a helping hand, put your loose change in all the donation jars and have signed up for build day, what more do we want, right?
Well, first of all the community support has been super and we need to keep this momentum rolling right on upto September 24th so we still need your help in a variety of areas. As build day gets closer and plans are finalized we will be asking for specific things that will be needed in order to make our playground and park a reality! We will be looking for specific items needed on build day such as power tools, rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows, etc. A detailed list of items is on the way!
Today, we are asking anyone and everyone for help with the community garden. The more flowers, shrubs, perennials, trees, etc we can get donated would greatly help us in cutting down the costs of purchasing all of the items required. So, if you have a greenthumb and have any beautiful greenery that you would like to plant in our community garden please let us know. Also, if you have a connection to a local greenhouse or would love to help in the planning of our community garden we would love to have you on board!
