The grand total for today's donations was $2337.75 making our new total $55, 134.23 !!! Isn't this incredible? We are only $9865.77 away. Think about it, that's only 100 more people donating $100 or 200 people donating $50! Nothing to it sure!
Well, let's take a look at who helped out today shall we?
A huge thank you to the following people for your support and generosity:
- Ruth Hiscock kindly donated $50 to our project today and for that we thank you.
- Beatrice Powell happily gave a donation today of $50 to help our playground and park.
- Two sisters, Shalynn and Shauna Harvey of Sandringham gave a combined donation of $100 today to help build the playground. I know they both can't wait for the playground to be built so they have somewhere to play when they go to school. Only a couple of more weeks girls!
- Andrea Giesfeldt donated $50 to help build this great park so that when she comes home on holidays with her mom and dad, she has a beautiful place to play with her cousins and family! Thank you Andrea!
- Andrea's Nan & Pop, Gertie and Andy Brown set the bar today with a very generous donation of $500.00 in support of our community park and playground. Thanks again for your continued support and generous spirit! :-)
- Kim and Troy Powell also generously donated $50 to our playground build day.
- A $150 donation was made In Loving Memory of Andrew Brown, Violet Mae Brown, Lily Heffern and Kenny Brown on behalf of Eileen Brown, Andy Brown and Gail Brown. Thank you for your generous donation. Memory plaques will be placed on our Memory Wall in honor of your loved ones.
- Thank you to George & Christine Feltham for supporting our project and kindly donating $100 today! Awesome!
- Amanda Feltham also very generously donated $100 to our playground and park. Thanks a bunch friend! ;-)
- Another $100 donation was recieved today from Harvey Penney for our project!
- Neal Squire, Amanda Handcock & Noah Squire kindly donated $250 in Memory of Melvin Handcock, Lewis Squire, Annie Squire and Kate Warren.
- Andy Handcock kindly donated $100 to our playground and park! Keeping it all in the family, Alex Handcock also generously donated $100 to our project. You both will now have a great place to bring your little nephew to play! :-) Thanks Andy and Alex!
- Frank & Geneivieve Squire also generously donated $100 on behalf of their 3 grandsons, Parker Squire, Noah Squire and Colin Bull. Thank you for your support! :-)
- B & H First Stop also donated an additional $517.75 today as a result of their ticket sales and with their donation of $482.25 at Movie Night they have donated a grand total of $1000 to our playground! Awesome guys, thanks so much!
Well, that's great for today don't you think? THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU to everyone who has supported this project from the beginning right up to this point. It's been amazing! In saying this, WE STILL NEED YOUR SUPPORT in a BIG WAY! Volunteers are still needed! Only 16 days until we make our dream a reality, let's keep that momentum rolling everyone!!! :-) Let everyone know how IMPORTANT this playground and community gathering area is for all of our Peninsula residents especially our school age children who need a great and safe place to play!
