Well, the cupcakes weren't the only sweet treats delivered today to the bake sale. MHA Sandy Collins made his way down to Eastport this morning for a cup of tea and a muffin and boy are we glad he did! On behalf of the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador & Minister Terry French , Sandy presented the Peninsula Playground Committee with a $15,000 donation as part of a captial grant applied for by Recreation and Wellness of Eastport. What great news and with Let Them be Kids matching our fundraising efforts dollar for dollar, $15,000 turns into $30,000 for our playground and park, SWEET!!!
