All in all the revival, while shortlived, turned out to be a great night for all invloved and that includes our playground committee. So how did this fundraiser do? Well, grand total from the night including door admission, game of chance, donations and bar proceeds was $800! Not bad for a few hours of fun! Thank you to the Royal Canadian Legion who allowed us to host the dance and who also donated a portion of the bar proceeds made that night to our playground. Thank you as well to our DJ Chris Bull for playing all the old favs and Kim Powell who worked the door! Everyone had a great time and some even had a better time than that! ;-) Also, to everyone who was brave enough to sport the 80's garb and come out to support our cause, thank you so much, it turned out to be a 'totally radical night!'

80's theme night at the Legion was a great success and not to mention, super fun!
80's hair, make-up and attire all made a comeback on Saturday night June 25th and luckily only stuck around for few hours. From high tops to mullets and the oh so bright colors, it's no wonder Corey Hart wore his, 'sunglasses at night'...lol!
