Happy Canada Day everyone and what a day it was! Despite the weather (which wasn't bad considering, but could have been better) the Toll Gate set up in support of our playground received a great response from both locals and visitors alike! A HUGE THANK YOU to our volunteers, who gave up their time to lend a hand and help out. From collecting money to tying ribbons and keeping the traffic flowing, we couldn't have done it without you! Thank you to Lynda Babstock, Rhonda King, Nicole Brett, Lora Turner, Megan Powell and organizer Kim Powell for volunteering your time, it's greatly appreicated! So, onto the grand total, the Toll Gate today raised $1101.82!!! Thank you to the public who supported us today and support our cause. The playground and park that will be constructed in September will be a great additon to our community. It will have something for everyone and will be a a testament to what a community can do when they all work together!!!
